windshield.   This is an ignition-based connection, so it will automatically turn on when the car is running and then off when the car is turned off. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eInstallation.  You simply remove the upper windshield trim and once it is removed, you will unplug the moisture sensor and install ours inline and reinstall the trim.  The harness tucks away nicely and you can adjust how long you want the radar cord to be.  The trim does snap back snug, but if you want a tighter fit, you can make a small notch in the trim where the radar cord
